The short version

NOVA doesn't collect telemetry, usage data or files from your PC. The only thing it sends anywhere is your license check.

What the app sends

When you activate NOVA, and when it starts, it sends your license key, your PC's name and an anonymous machine ID to Lemon Squeezy's license service to confirm the key is valid for that PC. The machine ID is a one-way hash of your motherboard's identifiers; it can't be turned back into hardware details. The ping test on the Network page contacts the address shown there.

What we receive when you buy

Lemon Squeezy processes your order and shares your name, email address, order details and country with us. We never see your full card details. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for how they handle payment data.

How we use it

To deliver your license, support you, prevent license sharing and meet tax and accounting obligations. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

This site doesn't use tracking cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and the checkout from Lemon Squeezy, which receive your IP address as part of serving those files. [If you add analytics, describe it here.]
